    Hello all!

My name is Adam and i live here in Montana and just joined the GPAA. I'm not really that green as I have been prospecting since i was a kid. I have explored much of Montana but there's still so much to discover and explore here and near my area of Hamilton. My local area is what i would describe as the hole with no gold but surrounded by it, which literally couldn't be far from the truth! There are areas to prospect around here but usually you would have to go through other people's claims or you would have to drive a good minute to get to anywhere of substance.

I love exploring old lode claims and hope that one day I could maybe start my own. I don't have much experience in running one though and would love to learn more about the topic from those that have experience in engineering one. Or those that are actively lode mining. There are lots of historical mining districts here in Montana to explore and plenty of unclaimed areas in gold districts to pick from. I'd be happy to travel into Idaho or beyond i have a thirst for knowledge when it comes to mining that just can't seem to get quenched.

I am looking for people to go exploring with my wife doesn't like when I explore alone and often times comes with me and brings the kids along which can limit my exploration ventures Haha. I love trying to source placer claims, but I love exploring historical lode claims and sampling from them.

I have welding and fabrication experience and own my own welder and plasma cutter and plenty of equipment to get started. if anyone has any projects, they need help with or fabricated gimme a holler! I would be an awesome addition to a mining crew looking to seek riches in the hills... and honestly don't care how far I would have to go to get to it(As long as its legal!) ... I love that shiny... I don't get discouraged easily I'm generally the type of person that enjoys the outdoors breakdowns are part of the job of a miner and I love fixing stuff and learning to fix new things.

    Hi,
Thanks for offering your help with projects. I'm really as green as green gets, but look forward to tis new adventure I'm about to embark on. We have claims here in New Mexico, but thinking other places, Arizona, and California. Good luck on your adventures as well.

Hello! Im a member of the Ravalli County Prospectors, I drive up from zootown to attend meetings. Theres some good info around and theres plenty of people who would love to join ya. If your not big into groups, try Northern Ravalli county, the bitterroots havent had great gold luck aside from Big Creek. Ravalli county prospectors has a meeting every 3rd wednesday of the month. More info can be found on the facebook page 'Montana Gold Prospectors' hope this helps if your looking for a group, or meeting people out and about, not many of these folks are lode nor hardrock specialists, mostly just placer panning, as myself. Best regards, hope to see ya soon, signin off.
