I would like to know if the Adkinson property and the Curvin's Cow Pasture property in Alabama are still open for gpaa members to prospect for gold ?

If not still leased by gpaa, can people pay to prospect these properties ?

That’s a great question, I’ve been inquiring about the same thing but cannot find any information on it. Anyone reading these questions who can help?

been a gpaa member off n on for 20 plus years . Alabama has good gold most on private access properties . I have leased hunting land and conducted business for quite awhile and was always puzzled why gpaa did'nt have more properties than it had in Alabama . I got back from Colorado in 2023 and was looking forward to retirement and some prospecting adventures , surprise all but 1 Alabama lease gone ? No notification nothing just gone . There is 150 acres along Tallapoosa outside Ranburne for sale $250,000 , the timber is worth $125,000 . just saying there are numerous lands for sale and lease in the Alabama gold belt but I have not heard of any effort to increase eastern region gpaa claims . Shame
