Akau gold resort is very nice when I went in 2018. Always helpful with anything you need. Food was great and plenty of it. Nice rooms. I would go again.

I was literally flying home from AKAU when you posted this question! My Buddy and I had a great time. The prospecting was varied and productive, the food, hospitality and accommodations were all excellent. I did a fair amount of detecting, some high banking and ran two shifts on the big commercial scale operation they call “the slick plate” where you use a firehouse to run 6 yards of dirt through a large grizzly and sluice. Great fun on a warm day!
