    My claims guide shows a GPAA claim called Alaska group north but it’s not listed in the online guide. So probably no longer a claim?

    Online is the most accurate. Check the GPS coordinates and see if there is currently another claim open. If it doesn't have and open claim and it's not private property, you can go prospect on it.

    I am currently in Alaska until the end of August. Petersville recreation area is a good spot to go. You can actually pan in Riley creek in Denali if you are headed there. Pans and Shovels only. Have fun exploring this beautiful state!
