new to the gpaa but not new to mining, I live in Stockton and I regularly head up off the Mokulmne and consumnes rivers above Jackson and angels camp....im planning a trip to ROCK CREEK RICHES above Placerville on Sept 26th 2024, looking for some mining buddies to team up with, I have some basic equipment, pans shovels buckets, and I just got my first sluice box *still trying to learn the correct way to set it up" and I keep my clean up equipment at home.

im hoping to hook up with someone who wants to go mining regularly, anywhere in he central valley is good as there are lots of places from mariposa to auburn areas, its just not a good idea to go alone. If your interesting in making a new friend and mining buddy hit me up kevfunko01@gmail.com and we can exchange numbers

I'm open for Next Wed and on Kevin. Have you camped at a GPAA claim before? I just might have to do that for a few nights.
it wold give me lots of time to get Dirtier. And get a nug or two.

cool cool mark, the one i went to above Placerville, rock creek, it would be very hard to camp there, not a lot of room for a tent or anything like that unless you were a very small foot print and the path down to the river and the small area you could set a tent up in is also a game trail I'm sure so there would possibly be some unwanted traffic at night.

other spots I'm a little unsure of, some of them from airials look like they would be much more friendly when it came to camping, I've been thinking about getting my LDMA membership too, just for the camping options they have available, but will probably wait until next year since we are at the close of the season soon.

I'm going to bear creek rec area just below colfax on Saturday this week
