Hi Kevin, me and my wife are gpaa lifetime members and are planning a dredging trip to North Carolina in March of 2025. My question is, if you were to pick between Thermal City or Lucky Strike, what would it be and why?

Richard,
I've been to both, and I've given your question a lot of thought and I have to say, I do not have a preference, I've found gold at each. Pretty easy at both. A good thing is given the closeness of each, you can try Them both and pick the one you like the best. If I remember right, they are within a couple of miles of each other.

Richard,
If they are good with a 4" I would run it. I was there with a 3" years ago, so I do not know what they are open to max nozzle size these days.

Right, I believe the 4” is max, we’ll be there for 6 weeks working the dredge as long as we can! I’m just hoping to get the yellow, so my wife will get the fever and continue to work with me.
