I’m in the same situation. I had a 6inch dredge I reduced to 4 inches and never got enough to buy my lunch. Like you I love the place but it’s strictly a hobby and any gold is good gold. I’ve been out of it for several years, just paid my dues yesterday to start back. I want to try Cornhouse creek 30 minutes away. Tuff trying to find a good place in the southeast. I do know a guy that got right at 2 oz at agc dredging daylight till dark t days in a muddy pit they dug. That was dedicated. He couldn’t see anything

Hey Steve, I don’t know if you’re willing or able to travel as far as California, but that’s my recommendation for the yellow stuff. I’m from Huntsville, Texas and it’s 28 hours to the GPAA claims in Plumas County. I’ve got my own claims there as well. I love the Little Grizzly Creek area and have worked good color from there. I use Gold Hog equipment and have a Raptor highbanker and Honda pump for sale if interested.?? Check out my prospecting reviews.
