Members, we have an emergency closure of the ADKINSON-AUPROSPECTORS Alabama lease due to storm damage that came through the area over the weekend of 7/12-14/2019.
The lease is currently inaccessible and closed.
Alabama State Directors and GPAA Members are working non-stop to reopen the lease.
If you are a GPAA member in Alabama (or close by) we need immediate help to reopen the lease and assist in cleanup on the lease owners land.
Currently the ground team is in need of,
-
Members with 4x4 trucks or side x side UTV's to haul fallen and cut trees to a landing zone to process
-
Members with log-splitters to process fallen and cut trees
-
Members to help in general projects in including road work, stack cut logs and load/haul brush piles

State Director Broach has opened up his property for primitive camping which is 4 miles away from the lease. Shuttling between his property, the lease and the landowner’s property will be available.
After the cleanup and a bit of expansion is completed, there will be an outing hosted by the AUPROSPECTORS for those that participated in the reopening. BBQ & GOLD what could be better! Bring your prospecting gear.
