From the Editor: GPAA State Spotlights took us on a golden journey across country

Just over a year ago we began a bit of a spotlight for every state in this big beautiful country we call the U.S.A. and learned a whole lot of things we thought we never would’ve learned in all our collective years of prospecting.

From the geological formations unique to each region, to the bandits that buried their treasure deep in the caves and the hills that have yet to be found - our country is both rich in precious minerals and in the history to which it was built. With all the places we found and the stories we discovered, we know, just like the gold out there, that there’s more.

And so, as we close the first chapter in our 50 State Spotlights, we’d like you to take a look at all the states and places we featured and let us know what you’ve found. Like a good prospector, let’s do our research and take an even closer look at all these areas and see what’s still out there for us to find.

Send us your findings! Your stories or even just your ideas, and we’ll share it right back with your fellow prospectors right here in the members only Pick & Shovel Gazette.

Because if there’s anything I’ve learned in reading the prospects of each state is that there’s something to be found in each. Whether it’s gold, gemstones, lost treasure, or even just a good friend and a great story – it’s out there and we just need to get out there and find it!
