From the North or South on Rte. 71 Exit #165 Rte. 97. When you cross the steel bridge in Bellville. Turn right, continuing on Rte. #97 East towards Butler 3 0r 4 miles After a hard turn to the right you will see a sign on the left for River Trail Crossing campground. Turn right that is Gatton Rocks Rd. Turn left across the bridge, you are there. You will see camp on the left side as you come in. This is the easy way for the first time there.

Use GPS ingress point works great — 2x4
Extremely well maintained claim with easy 2x4 access , nice camping area and plenty of outhouses. We stayed a few days and panned and ran sluices , we did find some good small flakes and one nice picker.bellville has nice motels and plenary of diners, the train on the hill (Buckeye Express) came highly recommended. We will be going back to this claim soon.
