The area is steep and we found it best to go to the big pullout area and go down there. Then walk back up the creek to the center of the claim.

Jack ass creek access road washed out approximately 1.6 miles from claim, via Merrell rd.

Might be able to access claim from Priest Coulterville rd turn north on Cuneo rd then then make a left onto Jackass creek access rd to claim. I did not try this just researched when I got home from the washed out rd

Steep and Rough Ride, Nissan Sedan Made it — 2x4

Step 1 of 1

I followed the Cuneo Rd. Route. It was easy on my Nissan until the Jackass Creek Access Rd. It is a very slow drive on the access road. There are a lot of easily avoidable holes. Got to the claim and used my GPS to locate the entry spot. The picture is of the entry point. Yes, I did go down that way. And yes, I did come up that way too. I do not recommend this route to get down to the claim. There was still water on the claim when I was there 15 days ago.

Does anyone know if these GPS point are correct? Will GPAA provide more GPS reference points so we see the whole claim layout?

Is water running year round? Creeks closest to road were dry when I went today. A gps point where water/stream is would be awesome as well.

I'd love to see What Three Words used for getting here & better directions.
