I only collected a half full 5 gallon bucket of material to pan at home. Looks like a great place to pan, possibly sluice depending on the current, High banker would be good but a dredge on some of the crevices and bedrock would be even better. You can drive a truck/suv down into the river with no problems. On my way in, I stopped at the check-in office and the woman told me $5 per adult per day, and that you didn't need to be a GPAA member to pan there?? I paid and continued on. I was the only one there but the lady said that weekend several people had came by and panned. I live in Oklahoma, cant go to Colorado claims until my vacation rolls around but the one in Oklahoma is helping to keep the fever at bay.
