6-Feet Under Access — 4x4
Unless you have a jeep with high clearance you will not be able to pass the narrow canyon at 35.427175, -117.769035. There are large boulders in the middle with a steep narrow turn. I have a regular 4x4 with off road tires and got stuck. I recommend to park at 35.426483, -117.768667 and hike the short way to the claim. Cool area with several mine shafts.

Step 1 of 1
Access is clear — 4x4
As of 3/9/2019, there's no longer any issue with getting up the road to this claim. The road is a little washed out with 3-4" deep ruts. But that should be manageable by a high clearance 2x4 and 4x4's will have no issues whatsoever. There was no boulder blockage as mentioned in previous reports. The only area of any concern is at the north end of the claim where the road splits, the right fork gets too narrow for most vehicles but at that point you're probably less than 100' from the boundary anyway, so just park at the intersection and walk up that way if you're interested in the area.

Parked south of the claim and walked in. — 4x4
Step 1 of 1
Parked south of the claim and walked in. — 4x4
I visited this claim on Saturday 9/26/20. At the entrance of the claim there is a narrow section with rocks on both sides, and a dip that you could pass if you have a truck or jeep with high clearance. I did not trust that my Subaru could go over this without any issues. I was a little nervous because I high centered my little Mitsubishi pickup truck here many years ago, but it isn't as bad now as it was then. Well anyway I parked between some rocks about 50 yards south of the claim entrance and walked in. There may be some other spots about 100 yards or more south of the claim entrance where you could park and walk in if you don't have a high clearance vehicle.

Easy to get to — 2x4 or 4x4
easy to get to, easy to find, it isn't to far off of garlock road, the dirt road entrance is lat. 35 25 8.022703 long. -117 45 45.879965 it is a marked dirt road. about half way into the claim there is a few rocks that can be passed with higher clearance (not recommended for cars or low trucks) but if you are familiar with driving in the dessert should't be a problem, you can hike in or drive and park.
