My wife and I went to this claim and did some metal detecting on Saturday 9/26/20.
We dug up the usual old rusty cans, nails, bullets and cartridges, but my wife got a big signal on the item in the top of the picture, I thought it would be a big piece of trash because it was a strong signal.
It is 13 grams (.4oz), not magnetic, and makes a clanging kind of noise when I drop it on the tile floor, and it is not heavy enough or soft enough to be lead.
The item at the bottom of the picture is just a rock with some green/blue color which I believe to be a sign of copper in the area.
I know from researching the area, that the mines in this area were producing gold, silver, copper and lead.
Over all a good day out, but it got too hot between around 12-1pm.
